mistakes are life experiences but still, if you don't learn from them, they don't deserve to be called experiences.
As for the post scriptum, you'll get used to it pretty soon :) Sleeping at noon, working and watching movies at night, that's the usual schedule for a foreign student in Aarhus. Take care with the neighbors though, they don't really appreciate loud sounds at night, as I learned the hard way :)

@ Manuel: I agree with you. After all, mistakes, like many other things, define us as human beings.

My way of seeing this issue:
There are mistakes from which you learn things (eg. being late at school a few times lets you learn how to construct your morning schedule). BUT (a big, capitalized but) there are some mistakes that occur either because we don't live in an eutopian world (eg. break-ups and other love issues), either because it is just really really hard to change (eg. not procrastinating when work needs to be done).

Either way, these mistakes create small events in the human life, they create memories. Without them you wouldn't have a character or wisdom to pass on to others (who will likely ignore you and end up learning things on their own skin).

So, to sum all that up, I believe that mistakes (of any kind) constitute (in a larger or smaller way) life experiences.

P.S. This comment is also written at night, by a person who can't sleep too.
