As usual (at least for me), my vision for the future is kind of blurry and I can only be certain of my soon-to-come future. This includes stuff that I am going to do in the next 12 to 24 hours but other than that, it seems all such a big mess!
People sometimes ask me where I see my self in one year from now and when I tell them that I don’t know, they have the feeling that I am keeping a secret. Some of them actually think that I am creating a big conspiracy theory to rule the world but I just don’t want to admit it. Really now, if I was sure that in one year from now I will be on a sunny beach in Kiribati, enjoying a cocktail while watching the sunrise, don’t you think I would tell you just to piss you off and tell you how well I will be doing?
Well, enough about me, let’s start speaking generally. People tend to consider that the progress to the most awesome accomplishments is done in silence and that the big result is something thought about before. The truth is that most accomplishments are done without even realizing it. There are certain circumstances in life where you have to make choices and if you manage to make the right choice, you rule.
From my experience, I realized that most of the plans one makes will never be accomplished. Nobody tells you not to do plans but try to make them as flexible as possible. Always have at least one backup solution for something you want to do. You never know what might go wrong so you need to have your ass covered.
Lastly, go with the flow! Let’s face it, if you were made to have success in the future, you are already on the way to it! If you are not, then comply with the situation and try to make your future as nice as possible. Going with the flow doesn’t mean you have to take a certain example from some industry and then follow it ad-litteram. It is very unlikely to have success in the same way as someone else did. The world is full of possibilities so try something else! The most important thing is to constantly try to do something, no matter of the outcome of your previous action so what are you waiting for?

Yeah.. you should always try to make the right choice.. and the right choice is usually not an easy path.
uhh,i’ve always hated the question “where do you see yourself in the next x years?”…
Well, let’s tell everyone to stop asking that one. It’s pretty annoying to have to tell about your dreams to someone else.
I’ve never answered to that anyway
@Victor: I can’t plan further then next two days either and it’s pretty annoying for a person who used to think she knows what she will be eating on the day of her retiretirement. But the thing with the two of us, I think, is that we just ended up in a situation we would have never even dreamed about. And further more, any plans we might have ever had, they’re all turned up-side-down now…
not only they are turned up-side-down but they don’t exist anymore, deA…
