Yeah, I am blogging but I will never make blogging my primary source of income (unless I decide to become a paparazzi that is). Well, yes, blogging sucks and most bloggers have some stuff in common.

First of all, I hate it that bloggers tend to think of themselves as very important. No, guys, not even if you get to have 20k subscribers, you are still not as important as you think you are. You will never be as important as you say you are. For example, if you claim the bloggers are more important than the press, how come you get so happy when you get a press appearence somewhere? Let’s face it, blogging will NEVER be more important and wide-covered as television, newspapers or radio. Pay attention! I didn’t say it wasn’t an important way of communication, I am just asking you to stop considering yourself more important than you actually are.

Another thing I hate about blogging and blogs is that any website based on wordpress is considered by the owners (and not only) a blog. Jesus, guys, you are just using some content management system. A blog has to be a little bit more personal. Therefore, most of the niche blogs aren’t actually blogs but websites using some kind of blog-related-content-management-system.

All of those being said, I have to add that I consider my blog a blog and although I am saying that blogging sucks, I will pursue my adventure in this realm. God, I wouldn’t use wordpress if it wasn’t the best blogging platform available. Shit, I would make my own platform if I had the time and it was worth it. Now, bloggers, please don’t take this article personally, it’s just my opinion cause damn it, this is a blog!
